Learning contracts regulate the conditions for earning credit points outside the regular course offers. They define the awarding of credits for student achievements in the context of extraordinary forms of teaching (for example, in literary works and independent research, in university self-administration, in tutorial activities or in active participation in a conference with a poster or lecture).

Learning contracts are created by the students in the Online-Services MOnA (My Online Account). Once the conditions have been determined between the student in question and the responsible lecturer, the learning contract is signed by both sides and submitted to the Student Office Biology, Spitalstrasse 41. The Biology Teaching Committee then approves the agreement, which becomes binding for all involved.
