The Student Committee Biology (in German: Fachgruppe (FG) Biologie) represents the concerns of biology students. Members of the student committee take part in various commissions, such as the student body of the University of Basel (skuba) or the Teaching Committee Biology. In these committees, they represent the concerns of biology students towards lecturers and faculties. Whenever possible, the representatives come from both the molecular biology and the organismic areas of biology.
